What if you complement your to-do list with a don’t do list?
Instead of just mapping out what you need to do for your business, jot down the activities that you should not do.
Here are some examples:
- Don’t spend more than 30 minutes on Facebook doing stuff unrelated to business.
- Don’t push Mr. Smith to upgrade to the newest software version, because he doesn’t need the new features anyway.
- Don’t waste weeks trying to design an advertising flyer if you could hire someone who could do it in 3 hours.
